Iran has not shown a “positive” initial reaction to the US offer to end the conflict, as stated by a high-ranking Iranian official speaking to Reuters today. The official mentioned that Tehran is currently evaluating the proposal. The preliminary response from Tehran has been sent to Pakistan for transmission to Washington.
