“Shakira Returns to India: Mumbai and Delhi Concerts in April 2026”

-

Latin music sensation Shakira is gearing up for a comeback to India this April, gracing the stages of Mumbai and Delhi for the first time in almost 20 years. The renowned Colombian artist, a multiple Grammy winner, will kick off her performances at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on April 10, 2026, before heading to Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on April 15. Shakira’s previous notable appearance in the country dates back to 2007 during the “Oral Fixation” tour.

Expressing her excitement, Shakira conveyed her eagerness to reconnect with fans in both cities. The upcoming tour holds a special focus on promoting awareness about child nutrition and facilitating food accessibility for marginalized communities.

The highly anticipated concerts are part of the Feeding India initiative, organized in partnership with District by Zomato. This marks the initiative’s inaugural venture into hosting concerts across multiple cities.

Shakira, a global Latin music icon, has sold over 100 million records and earned the title of Billboard’s Top Female Latin Artist of the Decade on two occasions. Notably, her recent “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” tour secured a Guinness World Record for being the most lucrative tour by a Latin artist.

Tickets for the Indian shows will be exclusively available on District. HSBC credit cardholders will enjoy a 48-hour exclusive pre-sale window starting from 12 pm IST on February 27 until 12 pm IST on March 1, with general ticket sales opening at 1 pm IST on March 1.
