Committee Formed to Investigate BSS Chief’s Corruption

The Ministry of Information has established a four-member committee to look into corruption accusations against Mahbub Morshed, who serves as the Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS). As per an official directive from the ministry, the committee will be spearheaded by an Additional Secretary (Grade-1) from the ministry. The remaining members comprise the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Information, the Director General of the Mass Communication Department, and a Senior Assistant Secretary (Press-1) from the ministry. The committee has been tasked with presenting a comprehensive report by February 25th.
