The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has agreed to extend the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to Peshawar Zalmi bowlers Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana for their participation in the current Pakistan Super League (PSL). The BCB made this announcement in a press release today, stating that the extension was granted in response to requests from Peshawar Zalmi and the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Initially, the NOCs for Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana were valid until April 12, 2026. However, under the new arrangement, the players have been allowed to stay in Pakistan for Peshawar Zalmi’s upcoming PSL match on April 13, 2026. Peshawar Zalmi, leading the points table with four victories in five matches, is set to play against Multan Sultans on Monday.
Both Shoriful and Rana are part of the 15-member Bangladesh squad for the first two ODIs of the series against New Zealand, commencing on April 17.
