Around 100 individuals were arrested in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur and Adabor areas during a targeted four-hour operation that took place overnight. The police intensified their crackdown on youth gangs, extortionists, and criminal factions during this operation.
Deputy Commissioner Ibne Mizan of the Tejgaon Division stated that the operation, which occurred from 10:00 pm to almost 2:00 am, aimed to address the growing threat posed by youth gangs, extortionists, and syndicates in Mohammadpur and Adabor.
“Approximately 100 individuals from the jurisdictions of Mohammadpur and Adabor police stations were apprehended across various criminal ranks. Our enforcement efforts will persist,” mentioned Deputy Commissioner Ibne Mizan.
The police confirmed that the arrested individuals were transported to the respective police stations for their involvement in different criminal activities.
