“New Appointments in Prime Minister’s Office Announced”

Abu Abdullah M Saleh has assumed the role of press secretary to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, holding the position of a secretary. Concurrently, Atiqur Rahman Ruman has been designated as the additional press secretary, Md Mehedul Islam as private secretary-2, and Abdur Rahman Sani as assistant private secretary-2. The Ministry of Public Administration released four distinct notifications on their contractual appointments. These notifications, authorized by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Nur-e-Alam, state that their appointment will become effective upon their commencement of duties. Following the victory of the BNP in the 13th national parliamentary election, forming the government for the fourth time in two decades, Tarique and his cabinet members were sworn in on February 17th.
