Tragic collision claims 5 lives on Kushtia bypass

Five individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident today on the Kushtia bypass road when a gas-laden lorry collided head-on with a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw. Abu Obayed, the officer-in-charge of Chourhash Highway Police Station, verified the incident. The crash occurred at approximately 2:00pm, claiming the lives of all five occupants of the auto-rickshaw, consisting of three women and two men. A family member of one of the deceased individuals revealed that the victims, including the driver, hailed from Khajanagar in Kushtia and were on their way back from Bagha upazila of Rajshahi. The deceased have been identified as Amena, Komela, Zakaria, Ashraful, and Shirin.
