Singer Mainul Ahsan Noble Granted Bail in Fraud Case

-

A court in Dhaka has granted singer Mainul Ahsan Noble bail in a case involving financial fraud through deception, as confirmed by court officials today. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Raju Ahmed approved the bail after a hearing, allowing Noble’s release with a settlement condition agreed upon by the parties. Noble was brought before the court by the police following his arrest on February 23 in the Battala area under Siddhirganj Police Station in Narayanganj. His legal representative requested bail during the hearing, which was granted by the court after reviewing arguments from both sides. Earlier on February 2, the same court had issued arrest warrants for Noble and four others related to the case. The complaint, lodged by a woman on August 13 last year, accused Noble of engaging in a romantic relationship with her and then swindling money under the pretense of marriage. The complainant stated that between August 25, 2023, and June 2025, Noble deceitfully obtained around Tk 13,18,540. The complaint also implicates the other defendants in aiding Noble in the alleged fraudulent activities. Pursuant to court directives, the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) conducted an inquiry. On January 7 this year, Sub-Inspector Nuruzzaman submitted a report indicating the existence of evidence supporting the accusations. Besides Noble, the other individuals implicated in the case are his mother Nazma Hossain, wife Israt Jahan Priya, assistant Munem Shah Soumik, and associate Masud Rana. The legal proceedings regarding the case are ongoing.
