Veteran artist Salahuddin Lavlu is currently juggling both acting and directing roles with three new film projects on his plate. The movies include “Cactus” helmed by Shihab Shaheen, “Malik” directed by Saif Chandan, and “Secret” under the direction of Bandhan Biswas.

Aside from his film commitments, Salahuddin Lavlu has directed a special one-hour Eid television drama titled “Shottyo Shongkot” for Channel i. The drama, scripted by Asad Sarkar, features Zakia Bari Mamo, Amin Azad, Farzana Bobby, and himself in prominent roles.
Discussing the drama’s theme, Salahuddin Lavlu emphasized its focus on truthfulness and the challenges faced by a character who remains truthful despite adversities. The narrative aims to shed light on the importance of honesty in society.
