An exclusive Eid drama titled Prematal is gearing up to showcase a touching tale of love, disappearance, and the torment of anticipation.
The drama features Tawsif Mahbub and Naznin Niha in the starring roles. Penned and directed by Hasib Hossain Rakhi, with cinematography by Suman Hossain, filming has recently concluded.
Interweaving elements of romance, emotional turmoil, and surprising turns, the storyline revolves around a man who has vanished. His mother and his newlywed wife are left in limbo, unsure of his fate. This shared uncertainty becomes the heart-wrenching essence of the narrative, evolving from a love story into a saga of perseverance and unanswered queries.
Director Rakhi characterized the project as a dual portrayal of a mother awaiting her son and a wife awaiting her husband. He emphasized that the narrative delves into layers of affection, bitterness, emotional upheaval, and stark realities entwined in the waiting period.
Producer SK Sahed Ali Pappu mentioned the rarity of emotionally intricate scripts, highlighting Prematal as a flagship production for Eid under their banner. The drama is slated to debut on CMV’s official YouTube channel during the Eid celebrations.
