Claude AI, the well-known chatbot developed by AI firm Anthropic, is currently facing disruptions, as users are encountering increased errors across various services such as claude.ai, the Cowork platform, and Claude Code.
As per Claude’s official status tracker, the company initiated an investigation into the issue at 9:15 AM Bangladesh time on March 3. Subsequent updates at 10:39 AM, 10:41 AM, and 10:43 AM Bangladesh time indicated that the investigation is still ongoing with no resolution reported thus far.
Currently, the status page labels the incident as “unresolved” and mentions “elevated errors” throughout the platform.
Data from Downdetector reveals that user complaints started emerging from 5:23 PM Bangladesh time on March 2, peaking at 3,888 reports by 10:08 AM on March 3.
Users trying to access Claude are greeted with an error message stating: “Claude will return soon. Claude is presently encountering a temporary service disruption. We are actively addressing the issue, so please check back shortly.”
Anthropic has not furnished an estimated timeframe for the restoration of services.
