“New Study: Organizations Unconfident in Cybersecurity Vendors”

-

A recent study conducted by Sophos revealed that 95% of organizations worldwide lack complete confidence in their cybersecurity vendors. The research, featured in the Cybersecurity Trust Reality 2026 report, was based on a survey of 5,000 companies across 17 nations. It highlights the impact of trust on operational risk and decision-making at the board level.

The study found that 79% of participants face challenges when assessing the reliability of new cybersecurity partners, while 62% expressed similar reservations about their current providers. Additionally, 51% of respondents admitted that the trust deficit heightens their concerns about the potential for a significant cyber incident, as reported by Sophos.
