Mehazabien Chowdhury Denies Airport Detainment Allegations

-

Actress Mehazabien Chowdhury has responded to recent allegations with a detailed clarification, refuting claims that she was detained at an airport last year. In a recent social media post addressing online harassment and the misuse of artificial intelligence targeting actresses, Mehazabien highlighted the trend of digitally manipulated content. However, she directly addressed the specific report alleging her detention, emphasizing that she has taken legal action against the defamatory claims.

In her latest statement, Mehazabien firmly denied ever being stopped at the airport or having her luggage detained. She clarified that no airport official questioned her during that time. Expressing deep concern over the prevalence of defamation without evidence to support the claims, she emphasized the baselessness of the allegations against her. Despite being linked to certain publications, Mehazabien reiterated that she had no involvement in the incident in question.

The initial report alleged that Mehazabien was detained with 14 bottles of alcohol in her luggage, accompanied by her husband and a filmmaker. However, the actress has firmly denied these allegations, labeling them as unfounded and subject to legal action.
