The bond between Depp and Dane, cultivated over mutual connections, prompted Depp, famous for his portrayal in “Pirates of the Caribbean,” to support Dane during his final period. Sources reveal that Depp facilitated Dane’s stay in a property above the Sunset Strip, allowing Dane to concentrate on his health without financial concerns. The arrangement involved Dane contributing as he could or nothing at all towards rent, emphasizing Depp’s desire to alleviate Dane’s financial burdens.
Dane’s demise followed his public disclosure of the ALS diagnosis less than a year ago.
