Jamaat-e-Islami Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman paid a visit to Mirza Abbas, the political adviser to the BNP chairman and Member of Parliament for Dhaka-8, who is currently receiving medical care at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. During the visit on Thursday evening, Dr. Shafiqur met with Afroza Abbas, Abbas’s wife, to inquire about his health and treatment progress. A press release from Jamaat indicated that Dr. Shafiqur also offered prayers for Abbas’s swift recovery. Dr. SM Khaliduzzaman, the President of the Medical Thana unit of Dhaka North City Jamaat, accompanied Dr. Shafiqur during the visit.
