Satellite imagery reveals recent construction activities in Iran, with a new concrete shield erected over a sensitive military facility and camouflaged under soil, experts confirm. This development follows reports of the site being targeted by Israeli airstrikes in 2024 during heightened tensions with the U.S.
Additionally, the images capture Iran’s efforts to conceal tunnel entrances at a nuclear facility that was bombed by the U.S. amid the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran last year. The country has also reinforced tunnel access points at another location and conducted repairs on missile bases damaged in the same conflict.
These visuals provide insight into Iran’s ongoing operations at key sites that have been focal points of tension with Israel and the U.S. Washington is concurrently engaged in negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear program, while maintaining the option of military intervention should diplomatic efforts falter.
