The technical committee of the Pakistan Super League has rejected Fakhar Zaman’s appeal and confirmed the two-game suspension given to him for ball tampering, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday. The PCB had taken action against the 35-year-old player after he was found guilty of tampering with the ball during Lahore Qalandars’ loss to Karachi Kings. Fakhar contested the decision but the committee upheld the ban, citing the Code of Conduct which deems their decisions final and binding. Consequently, Fakhar will be absent from Lahore’s upcoming matches against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United.
