“Dutch-Bangla Bank, Bangladesh Bank Join Forces for Export Expansion”

Dutch-Bangla Bank and Bangladesh Bank have entered an agreement to utilize refinancing options through the “Export Diversification Refinance Scheme.” This initiative is designed to broaden the range of export goods and open up new markets, thereby enhancing the country’s export industry. The agreement enables Dutch-Bangla Bank to extend refinancing opportunities to its export-focused customers at reduced interest rates. Representatives from both institutions, including AKM Nurunnabi from the Sustainable Finance Department of BB and Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan, the Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank, formalized the agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both parties.
