The upcoming 2025-26 season of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) is scheduled to kick off on May 4 and will conclude on June 11, featuring matches held at six different venues. The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM), in collaboration with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), has announced that this year’s tournament will follow a single-league format, doing away with the Super League and Relegation League stages. A total of 66 matches are planned, with provisions for reserve days to accommodate any interruptions. In this format, the team topping the points table will secure the championship title, while the second-place finisher will claim the runners-up spot. Meanwhile, the two lowest-ranked teams in the standings will face relegation to the Dhaka First Division Cricket League.
