The most recent installment of the series “Eta Amaderi Golpo,” helmed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, has achieved a significant milestone by garnering over one million views on YouTube within just 35 minutes of its debut. This marks a notable achievement for an online Bangladeshi drama serial.
The 30th episode was originally set to premiere on the Cinemawala YouTube channel on Friday at 3:00 pm but was delayed by a day due to the national election. However, upon its release, the episode quickly surpassed the one-million-view mark within a little over half an hour, as reported by the platform’s live view counter.
Prior episodes of the series had already displayed its strong digital appeal. The inaugural episode reached one million views in a span of three hours, while subsequent episodes achieved the milestone in 69 minutes and 57 minutes, respectively. The latest episode has now established the fastest record for the series.
According to producers, this is the swiftest achievement of one million views on YouTube for any Bangladeshi showbiz content. Each episode consistently attracts millions of views and garners numerous comments from the audience following each release.
The ensemble cast of the series features Irfan Sajjad, Keya Payel, Khairul Basar, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Intekhab Dinar, Deepa Khandakar, Monira Akter Mithu, Nader Chowdhury, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Dikon Noor, and Mahmudul Islam Mithu.
“Eta Amaderi Golpo” airs on Channel i on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:30 pm, and is available for streaming on the Cinemawala YouTube channel on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:00 pm. The Thursday episode for this week was rescheduled and released on Friday due to the national election.
