Prime Minister Tarique Rahman led a session today concerning the ‘Farmer Card’ initiative. The gathering took place at 11:00am in the Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat, as confirmed by the prime minister’s Additional Press Secretary, Atikur Rahman Ruman. Among the attendees were Agriculture Minister Mohammed Aminur Rashid, State Minister Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Prime Minister’s Adviser for Finance and Planning Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Adviser on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Rehan Asif Asad, and State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam. Ruman mentioned that the prime minister is set to formally launch the ‘Farmer Card’ distribution initiative on April 14, coinciding with Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bangla calendar.
