“Apple’s Foldable iPhone Faces Production Delays”

-

Apple is facing challenges in the testing phase of its inaugural foldable iPhone, potentially causing delays in production and shipment timelines, as per a report by Nikkei Asia citing insider sources. The report reveals that unexpected issues arose during early testing, necessitating additional time for resolution and adjustments. There is a possibility of shipment delays extending by several months in a worst-case scenario.

At the time of the report, Apple had not responded to Reuters’ request for comments, and Reuters could not confirm the information independently. Nikkei Asia had previously mentioned in January that Apple was concentrating on launching its first foldable iPhone concurrently with two traditional models featuring enhanced cameras and larger displays, aiming for a flagship release in the latter half of 2026.
