Argentina and Egypt Announce Line-Up Changes

Argentina’s coach, Lionel Scaloni, implemented three adjustments to his team ahead of the World Cup round-of-16 clash against Egypt. Julian Alvarez replaced striker Lautaro Martinez in the starting lineup, while left back Nicolas Tagliafico and midfielder Leandro Paredes took the places of Facundo Medina and Thiago Almada.

On the other side, Egypt’s coach, Hossam Hassan, made two alterations by introducing forward Haissem Hassan and midfielder Mohanad Lashin in place of Omar Marmoush and Hamdy Fathy in the starting eleven.

The confirmed line-up for Egypt includes Mostafa Shoubir; Mohamed Hany, Yasser Ibrahim, Ramy Rabia, Karim Hafez; Mohanad Lashin, Emam Ashour, Marawan Attia, Mostafa Zico; Mohamed Salah, Haissem Hassan.
