Rain Threatens Bangladesh’s T20I Series Win

-

Bangladesh faced a potential setback in their quest for a series win against New Zealand in the second T20I on Wednesday as rain threatened to disrupt both teams’ aspirations.

Chattogram experienced waterlogging due to continuous heavy and moderate rainfall the previous day. New Zealand adapted by moving their practice session indoors with minimal player participation, while the home team opted not to train at all.

Wednesday morning brought light drizzles in parts of Chattogram with cloudy skies looming over the Birshreshtha Flight Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Sagorika.

Around noon, the city was hit by heavy rainfall, accompanied by dark clouds hovering over the stadium.

The weather forecast suggests intermittent rain throughout the day, mirroring conditions across the country, indicating a potential start-stop scenario for the match.
