“WTI Hits 6-Month High on US-Iran Conflict Concerns”

The US benchmark oil contract, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), surged to a six-month peak today amid concerns that diplomatic discussions between the United States and Iran may fail to prevent a potential conflict that could disrupt oil supplies. WTI increased by 2.2% to $66.62 per barrel, reaching its highest point since August. Additionally, Brent crude, the global benchmark, also rose by 2.0% to $71.76 per barrel.
