“Director Raihan Rafi Unveils Female-Centric Film ‘Pressure Cooker’ for Eid”

Director Raihan Rafi has revealed the initial glimpse of his upcoming female-centric movie “Pressure Cooker” after weeks of anticipation, announcing its release for Eid-ul-Fitr. The film, produced by Raihan Rafi and Faridur Reza Sagar, showcases a first-look poster featuring the four lead actresses – Shobnom Yesmin Bubly, Nazifa Tushi, Mariya Hossain Mehnati, and Snighda Chowdhury, exuding confidence and strength in traditional lehenga outfits, suggesting a narrative focused on empowered women.

In a poignant statement accompanying the poster, the director described Dhaka as a pressure cooker for women, where their struggles echo until the whistle blows, trapping them within the city. He emphasized the entwined relationship between the women and the city, symbolizing the challenges they face.

Raihan Rafi’s announcement also confirmed that “Pressure Cooker” will premiere nationwide in theaters during Eid-ul-Fitr, building anticipation for the film’s release.
