“BNP Appoints 10 Advisers to PM Tarique Rahman as Ministers”

The government has announced the appointment of 10 advisers to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, with the status equivalent to ministers and state ministers, as confirmed by the BNP Media Cell. Among the appointees, five advisers including Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Ismail Jabiullah, and Prof Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir from the Economics Department at the University of Dhaka, will be accorded ministerial ranks. The other five advisers, namely Humayun Kabir, Brig Gen (retd) Shamsul Islam, Dr Zahedur Rahman, Dr Mahadi Amin, and Rehan Asif Asad, will hold the position of state ministers, as per the media cell announcement. The Cabinet Division has also issued a notification confirming these appointments.
