One Team Unveils Panel for BASIS Elections

One Team has unveiled an 11-member panel to contest the upcoming elections for the executive committee of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), the national trade body for the IT industry.

In a press release on Thursday, BASIS’s current president, Russell T Ahmed, announced the names of the candidates Russell T Ahmed himself, M Rashidul Hasan, Uttam Kumar Paul, AKM Ahmedul Islam Babu, Iqbal Ahmed Fakhrul Hasan, M Asif Rahman, Didarul Alam Sunny, KAM Rashedul Mazid (General Category), Syed Abdullah Jayed (Associate Category), Biplob Ghosh Rahul (Affiliate Category), and Syed Mohammad Kamal (International Category).

This election sees 11 visionary & experienced industry leaders joining forces under the One Team banner, stated Russell T Ahmed. Each candidate brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to propelling the IT industry forward.

He continued, our team boasts a remarkable blend of personalities with expertise in the local market, international markets, core software services, IT-enabled services (ITES), logistics services, InsurTech, and policy advocacy. While several seasoned board members return, this election also introduces exciting new faces to One Team. We are confident BASIS members will place their trust in this exceptional panel.
