Imran Kadir Receives AMF Asia Marketing Excellence Award

Imran Kadir, Head of Sales and Marketing at The Daily Star and former National President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, has been honored with the Asia Marketing Excellence Award (Youth). The accolade recognizes him as Asia’s Top Outstanding Youth Marketer of the Year 2025.

The award was presented on 13 November 2025 at a grand ceremony held at the Monarch Imperial Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Kadir secured the recognition by competing among nominees from 17 member countries of the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF), including Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Responding to the achievement, Imran Kadir said, “This honor is not just a personal milestone; it is a recognition of the creativity and innovation of Bangladesh’s youth and its marketing industry. My heartfelt thanks to AMF and everyone who has been part of my journey.”

The AMF Asia Marketing Excellence Awards celebrate distinguished marketing leaders and innovators across the continent, recognizing professionals who have made significant contributions to the industry.

Professionally, Imran Kadir is a media executive currently serving as the Head of Sales and Marketing at The Daily Star. He is also a partner in several startups and business ventures. He co-founded the Mission Save Bangladesh Foundation, serves as a trustee of the Spreeha Foundation, and is the founding president of Club JCI Limited. In addition, he is a member of the Bangladesh Football Federation’s Marketing Committee. His book on investment, Road to Wealth, has been well received by readers.
