The Bangladeshi government has initiated a three-day national startup exhibition with the goal of enhancing the entrepreneurial landscape in the country and facilitating connections between emerging businesses and potential investors. Known as the National Demo Day 2026, the event commenced on April 7 at the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation auditorium in Agargaon, attracting a gathering of policymakers, entrepreneurs, and financial backers. This initiative is a component of the Startup and Scaleup program, a part of the Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Development (DEIED) project overseen by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority. As part of the initiative, 1,091 entrepreneurs from six divisions had previously taken part in program stages, with approximately 200 selected founders set to showcase their ventures at the national exhibition.
