Actress Tanzika Amin has always been drawn to portraying a variety of human experiences through her acting. Tanzika has wrapped up shooting for three Eid dramas, one of them being “Chhitkini,” directed by Sagar Jahan and co-starring Farhan Ahmed Jovan. Expressing her excitement for the project, Tanzika mentioned, “The storyline of ‘Chhitkini’ is captivating. I believe viewers will thoroughly enjoy it. The script left a strong impression on me.” This drama also marks her first on-screen partnership with Jovan, an experience she described as delightful.
In addition to “Chhitkini,” Tanzika has completed two more Eid dramas set to premiere on YouTube channels, one of them featuring Tawsif Mahbub. Reflecting on her roles in these projects, Tanzika highlighted the diversity she experienced. “In the three Eid dramas, I’ve embodied three distinct characters. Each story and role brought its own unique challenges, making the work immensely gratifying,” she shared.
One of the roles that stood out for Tanzika was portraying a pregnant woman in one of the dramas. Describing it as a rewarding challenge, she expressed her enthusiasm for the project. Beyond television, Tanzika is eagerly anticipating the release of her film “Robi in Dhaka,” helmed by director Rajib Saleheen, scheduled to hit cinemas during Pohela Baishakh.
Discussing another upcoming film, “Jhamela,” set to release during Eid ul-Azha, Tanzika shed light on the storyline focusing on a woman navigating the complexities of remarriage and self-reflection post-divorce. With a career rich in diverse drama roles, Tanzika remains curious about exploring future character opportunities.
Expressing her interest in portraying iconic literary figures, Tanzika shared, “There are numerous renowned literary characters I aspire to bring to life on screen. I am eager to delve into those roles.” As she looks forward to the Eid holidays, Tanzika plans to celebrate in Rajshahi at her family home, eagerly awaiting her husband’s return from Sydney to enjoy the festive season together.
Amidst the celebrations, Tanzika quietly celebrated her birthday on March 5 with her loved ones, a tradition she cherishes. “I have always marked my birthdays with family,” she mentioned with a smile. “This year was no different. I find joy in celebrating the day modestly with those closest to my heart.”
