Dr. Rahman called for an immediate de-escalation of tensions, urging all involved parties to cease military actions, demonstrate utmost restraint, and prioritize diplomatic solutions.
“I urge the United States, Israel, Iran, and all relevant parties to cease military actions promptly, show maximum restraint, and prioritize diplomatic dialogue,” he emphasized.
He underscored the importance of upholding international law, respecting national sovereignty, and ensuring the protection of civilians as fundamental principles.
Furthermore, the Jamaat leader appealed to the United Nations and global leaders to take decisive and responsible actions to protect and uphold world peace.
