Dr. Ejazul Islam, popularly known as Dr. Ejaz, has been a recognizable figure in the entertainment industry for a long time. Renowned for his roles in various dramas and movies created by celebrated writer and director Humayun Ahmed, he has garnered a significant fan base over the years. Currently, he remains actively engaged in acting while also practicing medicine. However, at the ongoing Ekushey Book Fair, attendees are getting to see a different side of him – that of an author.
Dr. Ejaz frequents the book fair regularly, spending his days at the Somoy Prokashon booth in Suhrawardy Udyan, where he signs autographs and interacts with readers. This year, the publishing company has introduced two of his books, titled “In the Eyes of Humayun Sir” and “Humayun Sir’s Shooting and I”.
When inquired about the reception of his books, Dr. Ejaz mentioned that readers have been showing enthusiastic support. He expressed, “The books are being eagerly purchased by people. Many are requesting autographs and taking photographs with me. I am truly relishing this experience.”
