Acclaimed actor and singer, Fazlur Rahman Babu, is currently hospitalized receiving treatment following a cardiac episode. The news was confirmed by theatre director and organizer, Kamruzzaman Sagar.
In a recent Facebook post by Sagar, it was revealed that Babu was admitted to a private hospital in the capital city on February 16 after suffering a heart attack. Subsequently, he was moved to another medical facility where an angiogram uncovered significant blockages in his heart.
The social media post expressed, “We regret to inform you that the esteemed Fazlur Rahman Babu is presently under medical care due to an illness.”
Additionally, the update mentioned that Babu underwent successful open-heart surgery on February 19 and is now under close monitoring by healthcare professionals.
Sagar expressed, “Thanks to the grace of Allah, Babu bhai’s condition is improving.” He appealed for prayers from all well-wishers for a speedy recovery of the artist, hoping for his prompt return to the world of acting and music.
