Sonali Bank PLC has recently unveiled its newest branch in Madaripur, known as the Dasar branch. This marks the addition of the bank’s 1,235th branch as per an official statement. The branch inauguration was jointly conducted by Md Shawkat Ali Khan, the managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, and Khandaker Mashukur Rahman, the administrator of the district council in Madaripur.
A special function was organized by the bank to commemorate the opening of the branch at the Dasar Upazila Parishad conference room. The inauguration ceremony was overseen by Md Tangimul Islam, the general manager (in-charge) of the bank’s General Manager’s Office in Faridpur, who presided over the event. Md Abu Sayed, the deputy managing director of the bank, graced the occasion as a distinguished guest.
The ceremony was attended by various bank officials and representatives from diverse communities, highlighting the significance of the new branch in the region.
