A man passed away this morning after becoming unwell while standing in a lengthy line at a gas station in Kaharole upazila of Dinajpur. The deceased, identified as Enaytul Karim, aged 46, had traveled to visit his in-laws in Esayel village and subsequently stopped at Asma Latifa Petrol Pump after running out of fuel.
Eyewitnesses stated that after enduring hours of waiting in the sun, Enaytul collapsed. Local residents hurried him to the Kaharole Upazila Health Complex, where Dr. Mokrema Sarkar Megha, who was on duty, pronounced him dead at approximately 10:30 am, noting he displayed no signs of life upon arrival, possibly having suffered a cardiac arrest.
Syamal Chandra Barman, the officer-in-charge of Kaharole Police Station, verified that Enaytul fell ill while queuing at the petrol pump. Subsequently, his family members transported his body to his ancestral residence in Birganj.
