Vocalist Mainul Ahsan Noble was apprehended in Narayanganj today on charges of unlawfully confining a young woman and coercing her to create explicit images and videos, confirmed authorities.
Noble was apprehended at approximately 12:30 pm on February 23 in the Bottola region under Siddirganj Police Station by Demra Police following a tip-off.
The allegations originate from a report filed on August 13, 2025, where a woman claimed that Noble enticed her with marriage promises and kept her confined in his studio. She alleged that he forced her to produce inappropriate photos and videos during her captivity.
As a result, the court assigned the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to conduct a thorough investigation. Sub-Inspector Nuruzzaman of PBI submitted the investigative findings on February 2, 2026, leading the court to issue arrest warrants against Noble and three other individuals.
Murad, the Operations Officer of Demra Police, stated, “Following the issuance of arrest warrants against Noble and three others by the court, our team apprehended the main suspect. He is currently undergoing procedures for court appearance.”
No further information regarding the other suspects has been revealed. Charges have not been officially confirmed by the police, and no convictions have been made yet.
