“Minister Salahuddin Vows Zero Tolerance for Mob Behavior”

-

The Minister of Home Affairs, Salahuddin Ahmed, emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards mob behavior during a recent statement. After his first day in office, Salahuddin addressed reporters at the home ministry, affirming the public’s right to peaceful protests while condemning any unlawful activities.

He declared an end to mob culture, stressing the importance of upholding lawful democratic practices and discouraging the obstruction of highways and roads in the name of fulfilling demands. Salahuddin emphasized the need for proper channels of expression such as rallies and assemblies for voicing grievances.

Furthermore, Salahuddin highlighted the necessity for law enforcement agencies, particularly the police, to enhance their credibility and regain public trust through fair and impartial enforcement. He emphasized the importance of the police becoming allies of the people and restoring their tarnished image.

Committing to establishing a ministry free of corruption, Salahuddin underscored the principles of accountability and transparency for all individuals, vowing to combat any form of illegality. He issued a stern warning that swift action would be taken against any personnel involved in criminal activities across all forces.

During a cabinet meeting, Salahuddin outlined a 180-day priority plan, focusing on addressing commodity prices, maintaining supply chains, and ensuring stability in the power and energy sectors, specifically gas and electricity. He reiterated the government’s commitment to upholding constitutional principles and governing within the framework of established laws and regulations.

Salahuddin also emphasized that the assessment of government officials would be based on merit rather than personal or political affiliations, ensuring a fair and impartial evaluation process.
