“Pioneer Insurance PLC Declares 30% Dividend Payout”

Pioneer Insurance PLC has announced a dividend payout of 30 percent for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2025, with 25 percent to be distributed in cash. The disclosure was made during the company’s 30th annual general meeting (AGM) conducted virtually yesterday, as per an official statement.

Leading the AGM was Zakir Ahmed Khan, the chairman of the non-life insurance firm, who expressed gratitude to shareholders for their unwavering support. He commended the employees for their exceptional performance and encouraged them to uphold their dedication in the future.

In attendance at the meeting were the directors of Pioneer Insurance, namely M Anis Ud Dowla, Munize Manzur, Sanchia Chowdhury, Sylvana Sikder, Munsura Rahmatullah, Parven Akhter, Rozina Afroz, Shahana Rahmatullah, Shafiqul Islam Khan, MA Majed, and Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah. Several shareholders also participated virtually, expressing contentment with the company’s achievements.

During the year 2025, Pioneer Insurance recorded a premium income of Tk 387.62 crore and a post-tax profit of Tk 44.65 crore. All proposals outlined by the board of directors received approval from the shareholders.

The AGM was attended by key figures including Syed Shahriyar Ahsan, the chief executive officer, and SM Mizanur Rahman, the company secretary, among others.
