“Bangladesh Airports Ramp Up Security Measures”

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has increased security measures at airports nationwide. This decision was announced today by CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddiqui during a meeting with members of the Aviation and Tourism Journalists’ Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB) at the authority’s headquarters. The Chairman mentioned that they had received a security enhancement letter from the Police Headquarters. In response, a security alert has been issued by CAAB, aligning with the directives provided. While the specific reasons for the heightened security were not elaborated by CAAB, necessary steps have been taken to ensure enhanced security levels at all airports.
