Daily Jugantor has newly appointed Mizanur Rahman Sohel as head of online on Tuesday. He started his career as a writer in 2002 through Rahasya Patrika. In 2004, he started his career as a journalist for the local daily newspaper of Pabna in Daily Bibrity. After then, he served as the executive editor of the Daily Ajker Pabna.

In his long 15-year career as a journalist, he has worked in several national media houses besides Daily Jugantar, Daily Ittefaq, Weekly Robbar, Priyo.com, etc. For most of his career in journalism, he has covered information technology and telecommunications news.

Mizanur Rahman Sohel has been serving on the executive committee of Bangladesh ICT Journalists Forum (BIJF), an organization of IT journalists in Bangladesh, since 2017.

He writes books as well as journalism. He wrote a total of 26 books on self-improvement, business education, and information technology. His notable books are Hacking and Hacker, 101 Ways to Success, Care of Pregnant Mother & Baby, etc.

He has written articles on recent topics and participated in television talk shows.

Besides journalism, he made some success stories in a different sector. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Times PR. Top Bangladeshi public relations agency Times PR works jointly as a PR company in Bangladesh and India. Times PR is already working with more than 100 local and international brands and making their value globally.

He is also the co-founder and managing director of the online advertising monetization company Adoole Communications, co-founder and director of the Crime Research and Analysis Foundation (CRAF), director of the online air ticketing agency 24ticket.com, and co-founder and managing director of the China-Bangladesh and India-Bangladesh-based dropshipping company Doorping.

Mizanur Rahman Sohel earned his graduation degree from a private university in 2010.

He was born in the Pabna district in the northern part of the country. His father is a businessman, and his mother is a homemaker. Sohel is the eldest of four brothers and one sister. In family life, he is married and has a son.

He likes to travel abroad. He has already visited most of the Upazilas in 56 districts of Bangladesh. He started traveling abroad in 2011 and has traveled to several countries, including the United States, France, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Singapore, China, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
