Rokomari, the country’s largest digital library, has developed a collection of over five thousand electronic books (e-book) while the platform offers more than 300 units free of cost.
According to a news release on Sunday, platform users will get an e-book with over 50 percent discount compared to the printed books during the special campaign.
There is an option for users to go through the primary pages through the ‘Look Inside’ feature, along with verified reviews, to make a decision.
Books of all categories, including fiction, non-fiction, Islamic, children-adolescent, and career, are available in Rokomari’s e-book library. The book will be downloaded in the e-book library as soon as it is purchased online, anytime, anywhere.
E-books can be an alternative for readers, as the price of printed books increased in line with the global price hike of raw materials by 7 percent. People in Bangladesh lose around 3.2 million working hours every day due to traffic jams, according to the World Traffic Index 2022.
In most of the cases, they go through social media platforms during the traffic gridlock. The creative minds of people can be enriched by reading books during their leisure time.
