Abubokor Hanip: We set out on a remarkable 12-day journey through the heart of Uzbekistan from April 14th to the 25th, accompanied by our Compliance Director, Mr. Mamoon Wahab. With hearts open and minds ready, we journeyed through cities, engaging with the pillars of education at every level. Our hearts swelled with pride as we shared the innovative ‘Triple-A, Triple Mission’ model of Washington University of Science and Technology.
Our trip was graced with the warmth of university rectors, vice-chancellors, professors, principals, and brilliant students. We forged new partnerships through MoUs and cherished the wisdom shared.
The historical beauty of Tashkent, Samarkand, Navoi, and Bukhara was breathtaking, steeped in 2500 years of history, including the birthplaces of legends such as Imam Al-Bukhari, from whom we received the esteemed Hadith collection ‘Bukhari Sharif’ and Ibn Sina, known as the Prince of Physicians.
In the warmth of the Pahela Baishak celebrations at the Bangladeshi Embassy, graced by the inviting generosity of Ambassador H.E. Dr. Mohammed Monirul Islam and his wife, we found a festive testament to unity and tradition.
The extraordinary hospitality shown by Mr. Rustom, Ms. Sadat, and their team at the educational fairs highlighted the memorable warmth that Uzbek people can extend, deeply touching our hearts.
Standing before the lens of Uzbekistan’s national TV, sharing our success story, and tasting the bold flavor of horse meat for the first time, each moment became a precious memory in our collective consciousness. Every meal opened new worlds of flavor, and each day unfolded with the joy of blossoming friendships.
We reached the city of Anatolia in Türkiye on the night of April 25th, carrying with us a cherished album of memories and a circle of friendships destined to resonate far beyond these twelve magical days.
