“Team Robo Life Wins Bangladesh Startup World Cup Regional Final”

Team Robo Life emerged victorious in the Bangladesh regional final of the 2025 Startup World Cup, earning a BDT 50,000 investment and the opportunity to showcase their innovation on a global stage in San Francisco. The competition featured 15 startup teams at Daffodil International University (DIU) on August 14, with Team ‘Robo Life’ led by Muhammad Mohiuddin Shourov, Joy Barua Lovelu, and Ayeesha Siddika claiming the top spot. Following closely were ‘Rocket Wave’ as the first runner-up and ‘WeGro’ as the second runner-up.

Apart from the prize money, the top 10 teams also secured invites to a special networking session. The event was organized by DIU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department, with a judging panel that included prominent personalities such as William Reichert from Pegasus Tech Ventures, Md. Nazim Hasan Sattar from SME Foundation, Nowshad Mustafa from Bangladesh Bank’s SME Division, Shawkat Hossain from Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited, Professor Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed and Professor Dr. Rakibul Kabir from DIU, and Saeed Nasir from Exclusive Can Limited.
