“Sixty Nomination Forms Collected by NCP Aspirants”

Sixty individuals have obtained nomination forms from the National Citizen Party since the commencement of the form selling process yesterday, as stated by Saifullah Haidar, a member of NCP’s central election management committee, in an interview with The Daily Star. The forms were sold between 6:00 pm on Thursday and 7:00 pm on Friday, totaling 57 forms during this period.

NCP’s central organizer and district coordinator, Shawkat Ali from Narayanganj-5, and central committee joint chief organizer Md Ataullah from Brahmanbaria-3 have acquired nomination forms from the party’s central committee. Additionally, leaders from various district-level committees, both within and outside the central committee, have also procured forms. Aspiring candidates from constituencies such as Dhaka-18, Dhaka-14, Faridpur-4, Kishoreganj-2, Kurigram-3 and 4, Rajbari-2, Jhalakathi-1, and Cox’s Bazar-2 have also collected nomination forms.

Saifullah expressed expectations of a rise in the number of form collections in the upcoming days, with the anticipation of other central-level leaders also obtaining forms in the near future.
