Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has officially launched its new branch on Airport Road in Banani, Dhaka. This marks the establishment of the bank’s 142nd branch, as stated in a press release. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mohammed Younus, the vice-chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC.

During his address, Younus emphasized the bank’s commitment to offering modern banking services to its clientele. He expressed optimism that both Shahjalal Islami Bank and the new Airport Road branch would significantly contribute to the nation’s economic development. Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed highlighted the bank’s reputation as a trusted entity in the banking industry, known for its customer-centric approach.

The branch is fully equipped to provide a comprehensive range of banking services. The event was attended by prominent figures such as Md Sanaullah Shahid, a bank director and chairman of the Bank Foundation, along with directors Khandaker Shakib Ahmed and Fakir Maniruzzaman. Additionally, key personnel including Imtiaz U Ahmed, M M Saiful Islam, Md Abul Bashar, Md Jafar Sadeq, Md Ashraful Azim, FM Nawaz Ali, Mahmudul Shamim Talukder, AKM Iquebal, Shamsul Arifin Ferdose, and Azharul Islam (Ronok) were also present at the ceremony.
