Pakistan reiterated its commitment to engaging in “dialogue” with Afghanistan despite the conclusion of peace talks following recent violent incidents. The third round of negotiations was officially acknowledged by Islamabad as having concluded on Friday. The Pakistani foreign ministry emphasized that while they are dedicated to resolving bilateral disputes through dialogue, addressing the issue of terrorism originating from Afghanistan, specifically by the militant group TTP, remains a top priority due to ongoing security concerns.
