In the 13th National Parliamentary elections and referendum, a total of 1,166,593 postal ballots were delivered to returning officers before the commencement of vote counting at 4:30 pm on Thursday. Brigadier General Saleem Ahmad Khan, who leads the Election Commission’s Overseas Voting System Development and Implementation Initiative, stated that 498,205 postal ballots from international voters arrived on time. Concurrently, returning officers received 668,388 postal ballots from domestic voters. The Election Commission’s records show that a total of 1,528,131 voters, including both overseas and domestic individuals, had registered for postal voting.
