“New Art Exhibition ‘A Group Art Exhibition’ Unveiled in Dhaka”

A new art exhibition named “A Group Art Exhibition” kicked off on Friday at the Shilpacharya Zainul Gallery-01 located within Dhaka University. It was organized by the 50th batch (1997-98 session) of the Faculty of Fine Art at the university. Renowned Ekushey Padak recipient, Professor Farida Zaman, graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest, while artist and poet Zahid Mustafa was present as the guest of honor. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Professor Zaman at 5 pm.

Featuring a collection of 46 artworks created by 23 artists, the event showcases a diverse range of pieces, from picturesque landscapes to pieces reflecting humanitarian messages for Gaza. Some of the standout artworks include “Blood and Blossoms” (1,2), “Whisper of Tide”, “Whisper of Silence”, “Maya”, “Banglar Bodhu”, “Nature”, “Brikkho Kothon”, “Durgar Biye”, “The Last Reader of Poetry”, “The Gardener”, “Opekkha”, “Rhythm of Creation”, and “Radiance in the Dark.”

The exhibition will be open for public viewing until October 7, allowing art enthusiasts ample time to explore and appreciate the creative expressions on display.
