Renowned Indian singer-songwriter Nachiketa Chakraborty, celebrated for his captivating narratives and heartfelt verses, has unveiled a fresh track called “Dakhina Batash.” The song delves into the tapestry of life and connections, blending Nachiketa’s timeless essence with an innovative new sound.
Accompanied by a visually striking, narrative-driven music video helmed by Ishtiaque Ahmed, the piece showcases performances by Mir Rabbi, Zara Noor, and Arabi Noman.
Crafted by Sohel Alam, “Dakhina Batash” is part of a larger ten-song initiative by Spriha Multimedia, with musical arrangements by Dabbu. Alam emphasized that the song embodies profound emotions and authenticity, aligning with Nachiketa’s distinctive style.
In his remarks on the release, Nachiketa expressed, “I recorded this track a few months back. It embodies the kind of music that resonates with me – one that conveys emotional depth and lyrical richness. I am confident that listeners will forge a connection with it.”
Sohel Alam, the lyricist, remarked, “Nachiketa always brings a unique perspective. The song delves into the intricacies of relationships – the ebb and flow of human bonds. Having him interpret my lyrics is a tremendous privilege, and I am certain that the audience will embrace it.”
Director Ishtiaque Ahmed disclosed that the challenge of visualizing a Nachiketa composition was immense: “Given that it is a Nachiketa creation, the stakes were high. This pressure fueled us to deliver our very best.”
